1899 Regular Union Meetings

              1^st Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m.

              3^rd Thursday of every month at 4:30 p.m.

 1899-01 Credit Union Meetings 5:30 p.m.

 1899-02 Stein Unit Meetings

             1^st Thursday of every month at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

 1899-03 Robinson Unit Meetings

            3^rd Saturday of every month at 12:00 p.m. at the Local 1899 Grievance Hall

 1899-04 Security Unit Meetings

Due to the size of this unit and lack of attendance in the past, these members may attend    

the 1899 regularly scheduled union meetings (see above).

USW District 7 – Sub 2 and Local 1899 Annual Scholarships Now Available

Members can pick up scholarship applications for their sons and daughters who will be 2010 high school graduates at the Local 1899 office. The Sub-District scholarship worth $5,200 and the Local 1899 scholarship with a value of $4,000 is available for use in any accredited college or university in the U.S. or Canada. Applications must be filed by March 12, 2010. For more information, go to www.local1899.org. or stop by the Local 1899 office. Annual Greater Madison County Federation of Labor Scholarship Offered The Greater Madison County Federation of Labor has announced that its 17th Annual Broyer/Greer Memorial scholarship is available. Two 2010 graduating high school seniors will receive a $1,500 scholarship. The major eligibility requirement is the student’s parent(s) or legal guardian must be a member of a local union affiliated with the Federation. For more information, stop by the Local 1899 Business Office. The deadline for applying is March 26,
