Granite City Steel Historical Posters Mounted in Labor Temple Meeting Room 201

If you are interested in Granite City Steel history, specifically old mill photos, be sure to drop in Room 201 at the Historic Labor Temple after the next union meeting for refreshments and take a look at our latest posters.  The Blooming Mill, #1 Open Hearth among other black and white photos depicting GCS of old are mounted on the walls.  As time and energy permits, more representations of our forebearers past will be framed in posters along the 2nd floor hallway walls.

Local 1899 Mark Arman and Randy Jones seem to be having their own private BarBQ with the Rev. Jesse Jackson befor the "Keep it Made in America Rally" at Kiener Plaza, downtown St. Louis.

On the four days following the St Louis Rally thousands of workers whose paychecks are tied to the U.S. auto industry joined bus tours through 11 states to showcase the ripple effect of economic devastation and lost jobs in industries ranging from steel and paper to shops on Main Street and public education.
